​Das Referenzsystem für die Entwicklung einer neuen Produktgeneration ist ein System, dessen Elemente bereits existierenden oder bereits geplanten sozio-technischen Systemen und der zugehörigen Dokumentation entstammen und Grundlage und Ausgangspunkt der Entwicklung der neuen Produktgeneration sind.
