Der Problemraum ist die mentale, multidimensionale Repräsentation eines Problems auf Basis von gesetzten Zielen und erkannten Randbedingungen. Der Problemraum entspricht dem subjektiven Verständnis eines Problems und bildet somit eine Teilmenge der Wissensbasis.

The problem space is the mental, multidimensional representation of a problem based on set goals and identified marginal conditions. The problem space corresponds with the subjective understanding of a problem and therefore composes a subset of the knowledge base.
