Das Referenzsystem für die Entwicklung einer neuen Produktgeneration ist ein System, dessen Elemente bereits existierenden oder bereits geplanten sozio-technischen Systemen und der zugehörigen Dokumentation entstammen und Grundlage und Ausgangspunkt der Entwicklung der neuen Produktgeneration sind.

The reference system for the development of a new product generation is a system whose elements originate from already existing or already planned socio-technical systems and the associated documentation as well as being the basis and starting point for the development of the new product generation.
