ASE-Definition (dt.)

Eine Schnittstelle einer Komponente spezifiziert, welche Dienste die Komponente nach außen zur Verfügung stellt. Zur Beschreibung einer Schnittstelle gehören Ein- und Ausgabeformate, Nachrichten und Interaktions-/Kommunikationsverhalten (d.h. gültige Nachrichtenabfolgen in der Kommunikation mit der Komponente).

ASE-Definition (engl.)

A component interface specifies which services the component makes available to the outside world. The description of an interface includes input and output formats, messages and interaction/communication behaviour (i.e. valid message sequences in communication with the component).
